Job summary

Catalyst Metals is seeking an experienced Underground Maintenance Superintendent to lead the underground maintenance team on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth. The role focuses on safe, reliable maintenance of a diverse underground fleet with strong emphasis on continuous improvement.

You will report to the Maintenance Manager and drive performance, asset reliability, and maintenance standards across site operations, including satellite facilities as the operation grows.

Qualifications

• Proven senior underground maintenance leadership experience.
• Minimum 3 years in superintendent-level roles in underground hard-rock mining.
• Trade qualification in Diesel Fitting or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead Underground Mobile Maintenance team including supervisors, tradespeople and apprentices; foster safety, accountability and high performance.
• Execute maintenance plans to maximise fleet availability, reliability and utilisation.
• Provide leadership across underground fleet and site services for safe, efficient mining operations.
• Drive safety culture and ensure compliance with WA mining legislation and company standards.
• Manage budgets, resources, contractors and OEM relationships to deliver cost-effective maintenance outcomes.
• Oversee planned and reactive maintenance of underground mining equipment including loaders, trucks, drills and bolters.
