Redpath Australia is seeking an experienced Loader Operator to join our Federation Mine operations in New South Wales. You will operate underground LHD equipment, muck development, and manage ore and waste while maintaining safety and production targets.

The role requires 12‑hour shifts in remote locations, strong teamwork, and a commitment to high-quality work, with ongoing training and career progression opportunities offered by a premier mining contractor.

Qualifikationen

• Experience operating underground loading equipment (LHDs) and related machinery.
• Current G1/G2/G8 or equivalent underground mining inductions.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Valid manual driver's licence.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts in remote locations.

Aufgaben

• Operate underground loaders (LHDs) safely and efficiently.
• Muck development and production headings.
• Transport and manage ore and waste material underground.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and equipment checks.
• Maintain production targets while adhering to safety standards.
• Identify and report hazards, incidents and equipment defects.
• Work collaboratively with mining crews and supervisors.
• Maintain high housekeeping and operational standards.
