Job summary

Westfill Pty Ltd in Western Australia seeks an experienced underground loader operator to support development and production areas. You will operate CAT R1700G/K and Sandvik loaders, bog out headings, load trucks, and manage underground stockpiles while keeping equipment clean and safe.

You will work with shift supervisors and crews, hold a valid manual driver's license with RPLs, follow strict safety procedures and be prepared for a FIFO role with fortnightly pay and OEM training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid manual driver's license and ability to operate underground vehicles with relevant RPLs.
• Strong knowledge of underground mining regulations, procedures and explosives handling.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and physically demanding conditions.
• Ability to follow strict procedures and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Bog out development headings and production areas.
• Load underground trucks (Sandvik 663), manage underground stockpiles.
• Operate underground loader (e.g., CAT R1700G/K, Sandvik LH517, Sandvik 202, Sandvik 203).
• Ensure equipment is clean, safe, and in good working order.
• Work closely with shift supervisors, charge-up crews, and other underground personnel.
