Job summary

Rabmconsultancy is seeking an experienced Underground Grader Operator for a mine site in North West QLD, Cairns region roster 8/6/7/7. Role covers maintaining underground haul roads, declines, drainage and working areas to support safe, efficient mining operations.

You will operate Caterpillar 140M graders, perform routine inspections, assist with dust suppression, and support other underground tasks. Casual start with potential permanent position; meals, accommodation and flights from Cairns

Qualifications

• Experience operating underground graders at a mine site.
• Experience maintaining haul roads, road bases and drainage systems.
• Current RII Grader Competency and a valid manual driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain underground haul roads, declines, drainage and working areas.
• Assist with dust suppression activities and routine equipment inspections.
• Support other underground production tasks as required.

This is an opportunity to secure a long-term role within a high-performing production team at a modern underground mine. Your new role We are seeking an experienced Underground Grader Operator to maintain underground haul roads, declines, drainage, and working areas to support safe and efficient mining operations. You will also assist with dust suppression activities, conduct routine equipment inspections, and support other underground production tasks when required. This role is working on a rotating 8/6/7/7 roster, both day and night shifts, with all meals, accommodation and flights from Cairns provided. DIDO opportunities are available for local Mt Isa/Cloncurry residents.
