Job summary

SOUTH32 Limited is seeking an Underground Geologist to deliver geological interpretation and data to support underground production planning and resource development. The role is a 12-month fixed-term contract offering an 8:6 roster with FIFO from Brisbane or Townsville, or DIDO from Mount Isa, Cloncurry and McKinlay shires.

Responsibilities include data validation, mapping, and reporting within a collaborative, safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology or related field.
• Underground mining experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret geological data and produce actionable insights.
