Job summary

Alfabs Group is seeking Electrical & Mechanical Field Service Technicians for underground mining across Queensland. You’ll diagnose faults, perform maintenance, and rebuild equipment, working with experienced trades to keep customers operating.

The role is field-based with travel across QLD and a focus on serious machinery. Applicants must have relevant trade qualifications and mining experience, with a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Underground mining field service experience is essential.
• Relevant Electrical or Mechanical Trade Qualification required.
• Able to fault-find and diagnose complex faults under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults on underground mining equipment.
• Perform planned and breakdown maintenance, repairs and rebuilds.
• Provide emergency field service support and commissioning of equipment.
