Job summary

Anglo American Steelmaking Coal is seeking an experienced Mine Technician: Electrical for Grosvenor Mine in Moranbah. You will operate underground electrical systems, perform planned and breakdown maintenance, fault-find faults, and support installation and commissioning as development panels progress.

Qualifications

• Australian-recognised electrical trade qualification.
• Current Queensland electrical licence.
• Experience maintaining electrical equipment in underground coal mining.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork and quality workmanship.
• Current Standard 11.
• Ability to work a 7/7 roster.

Responsibilities

• Complete planned and breakdown electrical maintenance across underground development equipment.
• Fault-find, repair and maintain electrical systems, machinery and supporting infrastructure.
• Support installation, commissioning and relocation of electrical equipment as development panels advance.
• Maintain cables, communication equipment, electrical reticulation and panel infrastructure.
• Complete electrical inspections, testing and statutory maintenance activities.
• Diagnose faults and return equipment to service safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate maintenance with mechanical trades and production crews.
• Maintain records of maintenance and inspections, and comply with safety procedures.
