South32 Group Operations Pty. Ltd. is seeking a skilled Diesel Fitter to maintain heavy vehicles and underground drilling equipment at the Cannington operation in northwest Queensland.

You’ll perform scheduled and breakdown maintenance on Sandvik and Epiroc drill rigs, CAT trucks and associated mobile plant using SAP. Trade-qualified mechanics with a Class C licence and hydraulic fault-finding abilities are required.

Competenze

• Trade qualification as Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter/Mechanic (Australian recognised).
• Class C or higher Drivers Licence.
• HRWL Dogging, Rigging and Forklift (desirable).
• Current First Aid / CPR or willingness to obtain.

Mansioni

• Scheduled and breakdown maintenance of mobile plant.
• Maintain underground drilling equipment (Sandvik/ Epiroc) and CAT trucks.
• Scope corrective work to support work management processes.
• Use computerised maintenance systems (SAP).
