Job summary

Grosvenor Mine, Moranbah, Queensland, is recruiting Underground Operators for development work within a restart project. You will report to the Development Coordinator and help achieve zero harm while maximising output in an underground coal environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in underground coal mining with understanding of coal mining processes and applicable legislation.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a variety of underground mining equipment.
• Maintain a safe and productive mining environment.
• Support roadway development, installation and mining activities.
• Complete equipment inspections and identify maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow site procedure, production plans and statutory requirements.
• Collaborate with on-shift peers to ensure safety and productivity.
