Yancoal Australia Ltd is seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer to oversee the lifecycle management of the underground coal clearance system at its Moolarben Coal mine in the Mudgee region, Australia. The role requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and project-management skills.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Previous project-management experience, including cost control and budgeting.
• Demonstrated use of MS Office and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full lifecycle management of the underground coal clearance system.
• Work within a collaborative, motivated team environment.
• Manage the mine’s coal clearance system throughout its full lifecycle.
• Schedule short- to medium-term maintenance.
