Engineering Design Global Enterprises Pty Ltd – Sydney CBD NSW is seeking an Undergraduate Structural Engineer to join the Sydney office on a casual contract, allowing you to learn from university while contributing to real projects.

You will work with senior engineers on high-growth residential, commercial, and industrial projects across NSW. The role emphasizes mentorship, practical design exposure, and a clear development pathway for graduates.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled and pursuing a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Strong communication skills and ability to convey technical concepts clearly.
• Analytical problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Experience with Bluebeam Revu is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering structural engineering projects including multi-storey residential, commercial and industrial developments.
• Perform structural analysis and design using steel, concrete and timber.
• Prepare engineering calculations, drawings and technical documentation.

Undergraduate Structural Engineer – "Earn whilst you learn" with EDGE

We are currently seeking a Undergraduate Structural Engineer to join our Sydney office on a casual contract- to work with your University learnings. This role is only open to candidates locally to Sydney (Relocation is not accepted).

About the Role

As a Undergraduate Structural Engineer based in Sydney, NSW you will work closely with senior engineers to deliver high-quality structural engineering solutions across a range of building projects.

This role is ideal for someone who is:

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of structural engineering projects, including multi-storey residential, commercial, and industrial developments
• Perform structural analysis and design using steel, concrete, and timber
• Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and technical documentation
• Produce structural mark-ups for internal drafting teams
• Utilise industry-standard software including SpaceGass, RAM, RAPT, and Structural Toolkit
• Comprehensive training will be provided on all structural engineering software including SpaceGass, RAM, RAPT, and Structural Toolkit
• Participate in construction-phase activities, including site inspections and shop drawing reviews
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical, compliant, and economical designs

About You

• Currently enrolled and completing a degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering
• Clear and above average communication
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and a proactive mindset
• Experience with Bluebeam Revu advantageous
• Current driver's license required

Location & Relocation

This position is Sydney (NSW) based, working on projects across NSW and supported by EDGE's national office network.
