Job summary

Natural Selection Group is seeking an experienced UKG Functional Systems Technician to join a Melbourne-based workforce transformation program. You will maintain UKG Pro WFM across timekeeping, scheduling, accruals and compliance, ensuring reliability and performance within payroll, HR, and integrations.

This 12-month contract offers strong long-term potential, with a path to a permanent Dayforce Administration and Support role after deployment.

• Experience supporting UKG Pro WFM in enterprise environments.

• Exposure to Dayforce environments will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support UKG Pro WFM across timekeeping, scheduling, accruals, attestation, and workforce compliance functions.
• Manage workforce management configurations including pay rules, award interpretation, and labour management requirements.
• Investigate and resolve system issues, integration failures, and workforce management queries.
• Collaborate with payroll, HR, technology, and operational stakeholders to ensure system accuracy and performance.
• Support platform enhancements, upgrades, testing activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with external vendors and implementation specialists to deliver successful workforce management outcomes.
• Develop governance frameworks for integrations, interfaces, and critical data flows.
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for optimisation.
• Ensure workforce management, payroll, and HR systems operate reliably and efficiently.
• Contribute to documentation, process improvement, and support knowledge management practices.

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced UKG Functional Systems Technician to join a major workforce transformation program supporting the optimisation and ongoing enhancement of enterprise workforce management platforms.

Working across workforce management, payroll, HR, and integration teams, you'll play a critical role in maintaining and improving UKG Pro WFM while ensuring system reliability, compliance, and operational efficiency. This is a 12-month Melbourne-based contract with strong long-term potential, including the opportunity to transition into a permanent Dayforce Administration and Support position following a successful deployment.

You'll join a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement, system optimisation, and delivering high-quality workforce management outcomes across a complex operational landscape.

• Hands-on knowledge of timekeeping, scheduling, accruals, attestation, and workforce compliance
• Experience managing pay rules, award interpretation, and workforce management configurations
• Understanding of workforce management, payroll, and HR system integrations
• Proven troubleshooting and incident resolution capability
• Experience working with vendors, implementation partners, and business stakeholders
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
• Exposure to Dayforce environments will be highly regarded
