Job summary

Harmony CSA Mine is hiring Underground Storepersons and Store Truck Operators to stock and distribute parts, tools, and consumables for underground maintenance teams. You will ensure stock availability and accurate records, coordinating with surface and underground teams, on a 7/7 roster at the Cobar site.

The role requires prior store experience, attention to detail, and safety-focused teamwork, with potential for a quarterly bonus and a pathway to grow in a dynamic international organisation.

Qualifications

• Store person experience, ideally underground.
• Strong attention to detail and computer literacy; SAP/Pronto are a bonus.
• Ability to work independently in a remote underground environment.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• Eligible for quarterly bonus.

Responsibilities

• Issue and receive parts, components, and consumables underground.
• Maintain accurate underground inventory records using our stores system.
• Conduct regular stocktakes and replenishment of critical items.
• Coordinate with procurement and maintenance teams for timely delivery.
• Safely operate underground vehicles to transport goods.
• Follow all site safety and environmental procedures.
• Safely transport materials and equipment to underground work areas.
• Assist with loading/unloading, stock handling, and inventory checks.
• Perform vehicle pre-starts and follow strict safety procedures.
• Support underground warehousing tasks as required.

We are seeking motivated Underground Store persons or Store Truck Operators who will be responsible for managing and distributing parts, tools, and consumables to support our underground maintenance and mining teams. Your focus will be ensuring timely availability of stock, maintaining accurate inventory records, and working closely with both surface and underground teams to meet operational demands.

Working on a 7/7 days roster, this position is available on a residential basis only.

Responsibilities

As the Underground Store persons or Store Truck Operator, your duties will entail the following, however not limited to:

• Issue and receive parts, components, and consumables underground
• Maintain accurate underground inventory records using our stores system

Qualifications

About You:

To be successful, you will bring the following skills, experience and personal attributes:

• Previous experience as a Store person (underground experience preferred)
• High attention to detail and good computer skills (experience with SAP or Pronto is a bonus)
• Ability to work independently in a physically demanding and remote underground environment
• A strong commitment to safety and teamwork
