Evolution Mining at Northparkes Operations in Parkes, NSW invites applicants for an underground mining role focused on delivering ore safely and efficiently through the new Sub Level Cave development.

Reporting to the Underground Mining Supervisor, you’ll work in a fast-paced team, contribute to safety, and bring at least 12 months of underground mining experience, plus a Working at Heights certification and security clearance ability.

Qualifications

• At least 12 months of experience in a similar underground mining role.
• Current Working at Heights certification and security clearance to handle explosives or the ability to gain clearance.
• Hold a current “C” Class Australian Manual Driver’s Licence.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety by following procedures, using the right equipment, and setting the standard for others.
• Tackle a variety of tasks based on priorities set by the Development Shift Supervisor, no two shifts are the same!
• Take ownership of health, safety, and security, identifying risks and promoting a safety‑first culture across Evolution.

The current sub-level cave at Northparkes offers a solid 10-year mine life, including five years of development mining. Following this, Evolution Mining has a pipeline of future projects that will extend operations for another decade. You’ll play a key part in safely and efficiently delivering ore to the mill, contributing to a high‑performing team in a fast‑paced underground environment.
