Job summary

Protyre Autocare is actively seeking a Tyre Technician to join our team. You will perform tyre fitting and repairs on a range of cars and light vehicles, delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

Essential qualifications include a full clean UK driving licence (held for at least 6 months) and an automotive field qualification. We offer funded IMI courses and career progression opportunities within The Micheldever Group.

Qualifications

• Must have proven Tyre Technician experience or apprenticeship.
• Full clean UK driving licence held for at least 6 months (subject to age/points restrictions).
• Automotive field qualification or apprenticeship completed.

Responsibilities

• Accurate tyre repairs and fitting to all vehicle makes.
• Provide quality workmanship and seek guidance when necessary.
• Remove and refit components and carry out related adjustments.
• Ensure work is carried out safely and to a high standard.
• Inform customers or management of any additional faults found.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness after service.
• Keep documentation in line with company policies.

OurTyre Fitters / Techniciansare responsible for carrying out tyre fitting and tyre repairs on a variety of cars and light vehicles, maintaining the highest quality of workmanship and delivering excellent customer service.

Essential:

Full Clean UK Driving Licence, held for at least 6 months (age restrictions may apply – points or offences may affect your application)

About the role:

Accurate tyre repairs and fitting to all makes of vehicles.

Always providing quality workmanship, seeking advice and guidance when necessary

Remove and refit components and carry out related adjustments.

Ensuring the work completed on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard.

Making customers and/or management aware of any additional faults found on the customers vehicle.

Ensure that the customer’s vehicle is cleaned of any dirt/oil, or any other, marks resulting from the job you have carried out

To maintain accurate documentation in line with company policies and procedures

About you:

Proven experience and background as a competent Tyre Technician either through experience gained through continued employment or an Apprenticeship

Full Clean UK Driving Licence

Able to produce high quality work within specified time frames, using your own initiative

Able to work independently or as part of a busy team in a fast-paced dynamic environment

The ability to multitask and make appropriate decisions to benefit company performance

Friendly and approachable manner
