Job summary

Sydney City Toyota and Sydney City Lexus in Waterloo are seeking a Tyre Fitter & Wheel Alignment Tech to join our fast-paced team. You will fit, balance and rotate tyres across passenger, SUV, light commercial and hybrid/EV vehicles, and perform four-wheel alignments to manufacturer specs.

Qualifications

• Experience as tyre fitter and wheel alignment technician.
• Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology or higher is highly regarded.
• Current Australian driver's licence (manual preferred).
• Physically fit with attention to detail.
• Good communication and team-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Fitting, balancing and rotating tyres across passenger, SUV, light commercial and hybrid/EV vehicles.
• Performing four-wheel alignments to manufacturer specification and producing before/after reports.
• Diagnosing tyre wear, steering and suspension-related concerns and advising on corrective work.
• TPMS servicing, relearns and sensor replacement.
• Puncture repairs in line with Australian Standards.
• Accurate completion of job cards, checklists and stock movements.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area in line with our OH&S requirements.

Our Waterloo service department looks after a high volume of Toyota and Lexus vehicles, and our Tyre Store is a busy, well-equipped part of that operation. We’re looking for a Tyre Fitter & Wheel Alignment Tech to join our fast-paced and supportive team at Waterloo,

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you'll be responsible for:

• Fitting, balancing and rotating tyres across passenger, SUV, light commercial and hybrid/EV vehicles
• Performing four-wheel alignments to manufacturer specification and producing before/after reports
• Diagnosing tyre wear, steering and suspension-related concerns and advising on corrective work
• TPMS servicing, relearns and sensor replacement
• Puncture repairs in line with Australian Standards
• Accurate completion of job cards, checklists and stock movements
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area in line with our OH&S requirements

About you

• Demonstrated experience as a tyre fitter and wheel alignment technician (dealership or independent workshop)
• Confident operating modern tyre changers, wheel balancers and computerised alignment equipment
• Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology or higher — highly regarded
• Current Australian driver's licence (manual capability preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
• Good communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Physically fit and able to meet the demands of the role
