Tyrepower Gladesville is seeking an experienced Wheel Aligner / Tyre Fitter for a full-time role in our busy workshop. You’ll perform precise wheel alignments with Hunter equipment, service a wide range of vehicles, and assist with tyre fitting and balancing as required.

You don’t need to be a qualified motor mechanic; a strong wheel alignment background and attention to detail are essential. Join a supportive team that offers ongoing training and good pay.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform precise wheel alignments using Hunter system
• Diagnose pulling, off-centre steering and uneven tyre wear
• Adjust toe, camber and caster where applicable
• Identify worn suspension components affecting alignment
• Check tyre condition, pressures and wear patterns
• Road test vehicles to diagnose issues
• Fit, balance, rotate and repair tyres when required
• Collaborate with workshop team on repairs
• Deliver high-quality workmanship

Job description

Experienced Wheel Aligner / Tyre Fitter – Full Time

Work With the Latest Hunter Wheel Alignment Technology

Tyrepower Gladesville is looking for an experienced Wheel Aligner / Tyre Fitter to join our busy workshop.

Wheel alignment will be the primary focus of this position. You'll be working with the latest Hunter wheel alignment equipment, giving you the technology and equipment to do the job properly.

We're looking for someone who genuinely understands wheel alignment – not just someone who can get the numbers into the green.

You'll work on a huge variety of vehicles, from everyday passenger cars through to European and performance vehicles, SUVs, 4WDs and light commercials. Tyre fitting and balancing will also form part of the role when required.

What You'll Be Doing

• Performing accurate wheel alignments using our latest-generation Hunter wheel alignment system

• Diagnosing pulling, off-centre steering wheels, handling problems and uneven or premature tyre wear

• Understanding and correctly adjusting toe, camber and caster where applicable

• Identifying worn or damaged steering and suspension components affecting vehicle alignment

• Checking tyre condition, pressures and wear patterns before alignment

• Road testing vehicles where required to diagnose issues and confirm results

• Fitting, balancing, rotating and repairing tyres when required

• Working alongside our mechanical team when suspension, steering or other repairs are required

• Taking pride in customer vehicles and delivering consistently high-quality workmanship

• Helping the wider workshop team during busy periods

What We're Looking For

• Strong previous wheel alignment experience

• Good understanding of steering, suspension, alignment geometry and tyre wear

• Tyre fitting and balancing experience

• Ability to diagnose alignment problems rather than simply relying on the machine

• Confidence working on a wide variety of vehicles

• Strong attention to detail

• Reliable, productive and able to work as part of a busy workshop team

• Current Australian driver's licence

You do not need to be a qualified motor mechanic. We're looking for an excellent wheel aligner first and foremost.
