Job summary

Techforce Personnel is seeking experienced OTR Tyre Fitters to support open cut mining across Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales. You will fit, rotate and repair tyres on haul trucks, loaders, dozers and graders, and operate tyre handlers safely in field and workshop environments.

Applicants should hold Cert II or III in Tyre Fitting, have mine site experience, tyre handler skills, a valid HR/MC licence, and be able to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol testing.

Qualifications

• Certification to work on OTR tyres (Cert II or Cert III in Tyre Fitting or equivalent).
• Mine site experience on mining fleet equipment.
• Tyre handler experience.
• Current driver’s licence (HR or MC highly regarded).
• Coal tickets (Standard 11, Coal Board Medical) highly regarded.
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen.

Responsibilities

• Fit, remove, rotate and repair OTR tyres on mining fleet, including haul trucks, loaders, dozers and graders.
• Operate tyre handlers safely in the field and in the workshop.
• Carry out tyre inspections, pressure checks and condition reporting.
• Inspect and assemble multi-piece rims to site and manufacturer standards.
• Work to site safety systems and complete all required documentation.

• Operate tyre handlers safely in the field and in the workshop
• Carry out tyre inspections, pressure checks and condition reporting
• Inspect and assemble multi-piece rims to site and manufacturer standards

What you’ll need

• Relevant certification to work on OTR tyres (Cert II or Cert III in Tyre Fitting or equivalent)
