Job summary

The Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) Children and Family division is seeking a TV Producer to lead Good Game Spawn Squad from development through production.

Reporting to the Series Producer, you will cast, research and write for episodes, direct production on set with both child and adult talent, and collaborate closely with editors in post-production. A strong background in TV production and video game culture is essential.

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of video game culture and extensive television production experience.
• Strong directing skills relevant to TV series production.
• Working knowledge of production software including the Adobe and Microsoft Suites.
• Understanding of current digital content trends.
• Valid Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain one.
• Passion and interest in video games is preferable.

About You

You have a foundational understanding of video game culture as well as extensive television production experience.

You'll also have:

• Well-honed directing skills relevant to TV series production.


• A working knowledge of production software including the Adobe and Microsoft Suites.


• An understanding of current digital content trends.


• A valid Working With Children Check (or be willing to obtain and maintain one)


• A passion and interest in video games is preferable.
