Job summary

Programmed Apprenticeships & Traineeships is offering Turf Management and Irrigation Apprenticeships in Adelaide, SA. This hands-on role spans golf courses, sports grounds, councils, schools and landscapes, with two pathways: Sports Turf Management and Irrigation Technology.

You’ll work across multiple sites, reporting to your allocated worksite and gaining a nationally recognised qualification.

Qualifications

• Interest in turf management, irrigation or working outdoors.
• Willingness to learn and commit to completing an apprenticeship.
• Good physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Assist with turf maintenance across sports turf surfaces, golf courses and fields.
• Operate and maintain equipment (ride-on mowers, tractors, whipper snippers).
• Support turf renovation programs and irrigation troubleshooting.
