Job summary

Qualifications

• Sound organisation, time management and record-keeping skills.
• Practical food handling and cleaning skills with hygiene focus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Numeracy and confidence with orders, stock, invoices, cash reconciliation and online ordering.
• Ability to work independently and follow procedures.
• Ability to prioritise to meet daily orders and service.
• Current Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or eligibility.
• Food Safety Supervisor training or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operation of school tuckshop.
• Coordinate food prep, service and cleanup for daily orders.
• Maintain clean, secure tuckshop environment.
• Manage online ordering and POS systems, including menus, pricing and orders.
• Count takings and prepare banking records.
• Provide catering for meetings, functions and events.
