Job summary

Clough Ltd. is leading a major Western Australia infrastructure effort, inviting Instrumentation Tube Fitters to join the Project Ceres site in Karratha on a long-term basis.

The role involves interpreting isometrics and P&IDs, fabricating and installing tubing systems, and performing rigorous testing to ensure safety and quality on the plant’s construction phase. The ideal candidate will hold a trade certification in pipefitting or related discipline, have experience with stainless steel and

Qualifications

• Trade certification or vocational training in pipefitting, tube fitting, or related mechanical discipline.
• Experience with stainless steel, copper, and alloy tubing.
• High Risk Licences - WAH and Confined Spaces.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs, and layouts to plan tubing installations.
• Measure, cut, thread, bend, and fit tubing to exact dimensions with hand/power tools.
• Assemble and install tubing systems, fittings, valves, supports, and related components.
• Perform hydrostatic, pneumatic, and leak testing on completed systems.
• Ensure joints meet engineering standards and safety codes.
• Verify materials and ensure fittings and tubing are free from damage.
• Collaborate with welders, pipefitters, and instrument techs to integrate systems.
• Maintain records of work and report progress to supervisors.

Clough, as part of a joint venture, is delivering the Project Ceres urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs, and layout sketches to plan tubing installations
• Measure, cut, thread, bend, and fit tubing to specified dimensions using hand and power tools
• Assemble and install tubing systems, fittings, valves, supports, and related components
• Perform hydrostatic, pneumatic, and leak testing on completed systems
• Ensure joints and connections are made according to engineering standards and safety codes
• Verify material specifications and ensure all fittings and tubing are free from damage and contamination
• Work collaboratively with welders, pipefitters, and instrument technicians to integrate tubing with other mechanical systems
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and report progress to supervisors

What you will bring to the team/Qualifications you will bring to the team:

• Familiarity with Swagelok, Parker, or equivalent compression fitting systems
• Experience as an Instrumentation Tube Fitter in oil & gas or construction projects
• Trade certification or vocational training in pipefitting, tube fitting, or related mechanical discipline preferred
• Experience with stainless steel, copper, and alloy tubing
• High Risk Licences - WAH and Confined Spaces
• Full Working Rights in Australia
