Job summary

Compas PTY is seeking a senior Enterprise Solution Architect to shape a future-state technology strategy, simplify complex landscapes, reduce technical debt and provide strategic guidance across multiple initiatives.

This onsite Canberra role is a 12‑month contract with two 12‑month extension options. Applicants must hold a current TSPV/TSPA clearance, be Australian citizens, and visa sponsorship for overseas applicants is not available.

Qualifications

7+ years’ experience in system or platform technical design, software development or system administration.
Strong capability across Solution Architecture, Systems Design and Requirements Management at SFIA Level 5.
Ability to analyse business and technical requirements and provide strategic architecture guidance.
Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

Lead solution architecture outcomes to support secure, integrated and strategically aligned technology delivery.
Drive technology rationalisation by reducing technical debt, duplication and architectural complexity.
Develop and maintain reference architectures, standards, blueprints and other key architecture artefacts.
Identify architectural risks, dependencies and emerging technology opportunities while supporting stakeholder collaboration.
