Job summary

Compas PTY is seeking a Business Analyst to deliver analysis across a government ICT environment, ensuring clear requirements and acceptance criteria for delivery. This role requires full-time onsite attendance in Canberra, with no work from home.

You will investigate complex business situations, define specifications, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, architects and developers to enable high-quality ICT product delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' Business Analyst experience for LOR4 or 5 years for LOR5.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Strong capability in business situation analysis in complex, ambiguous environments.
• Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and ability to gain agreement on recommendations.

Deliver business analysis across a complex government technology environment, investigating business situations, defining requirements and acceptance criteria, and supporting high-quality ICT product delivery. This role requires full-time onsite attendance in Canberra, with no work from home.

Work Arrangement: Full-time onsite in Canberra - no work from home
Contract Duration: 12 months with possible 2 x 12-month extensions
Security Clearance Requirement: TSPV/TSPA only
Closing Date: 10.00am, 11 September 2026
