Job summary

The Podmilsak Group is seeking a Datacenter Technician & Systems Administrator to support mission-critical IT infrastructure onsite in Australia. The role requires hands-on hardware troubleshooting and repair across legacy and modern systems, with active TS/SCI clearance and CI polygraph within the last four years.

You will work with Linux-based systems and legacy environments (OpenVMS, HP-UX) while collaborating with internal teams to implement best practices in data center operations. U.S.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship with active TS/SCI clearance and CI polygraph adjudicated within 4 years.
• Associates degree in Computer Technology or equivalent experience.
• Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hardware from specified vendors.
• Perform operations and maintenance for IT systems and storage.
• Maintain both legacy and modern IT infrastructure for optimal performance.
• Support Linux-based OS and legacy environments like OpenVMS and HP-UX.
• Collaborate with teams to implement data center best practices.
• Work independently and in teams to address technical challenges.
