Job summary

Allens in Sydney is seeking a Trust Specialist to join the Working Capital Team. This 18-month fixed-term contract involves ensuring accurate and compliant fund transfers to and from the Trust Account, mitigating risk to client funds, and supporting timely billings, receipting and collections.

The role is hybrid, with 60% office work, and flexibility in arrangements. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated team to meet KPIs while delivering high-quality client service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and compliant transfer of funds into and out of the firm’s Trust Account.

Your role

At Allens, our business teams are also specialists in their field, using their unique knowledge and expertise to solve critical client and business challenges.

You’ll be part of our Working Capital Team. As a Trust Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and compliant transfer of funds into and out of the firm's Trust Account, mitigating risk to the firm's trust account and client funds held therein.

You will also support the management of the firm's working capital by ensuring billings, collections and receipting are processed efficiently and in a timely manner to meet month-to-month KPIs.

You’ll join a dedicated, innovative and efficient team whose success is grounded in a friendly, fun and respectful culture.

This is a full-time fixed term contract for 18 months. Hybrid working (60% in the office) is how we work; however, flexibility matters at Allens, so if you are seeking hybrid working or are looking for flexibility in your work, we would be happy to discuss what arrangements would work best for you.

About you

You will have:

• Previous trust accounts experience in a law firm or professional service environment;

• An ability to work collaboratively with other members of the team by displaying high standards of conduct, and supporting the overall objectives of the team;

• Excellent client service skills and professionalism by responding appropriately and promptly to all forms of communication to deliver high quality client service;

• Attention to detail, ability to work efficiently and accurately under tight deadlines;

• Strong commercial acumen
