Job summary

Agrifutures is seeking an experienced Trust Specialist to join on an 18-month fixed-term contract in Sydney. The role focuses on managing trust account operations, ensuring compliant fund movements and supporting billing, collections, and cash flow activities.

You will work within a collaborative team, applying trust accounting knowledge and a proactive, solutions-focused approach to improve processes and drive efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in trust accounting within a law firm or professional services.
• Strong knowledge of trust accounting principles and compliance requirements.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing trust account transactions and client fund movements.
• Ensuring compliance with trust accounting regulations and internal controls.
• Processing billings, receipts and collections accurately and efficiently.
• Supporting working capital objectives and cash collection targets.
• Investigating and resolving trust account queries.
• Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and providing exceptional service.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and drive operational efficiency.
