Job summary

WorkPac is recruiting a Forklift Operator for a ground support and safety solutions provider in Narangba. The role requires operating a forklift to load/unload trucks with steel up to 5 tonnes and 10 metres, plus yard maintenance and general labouring.

You will work from 6am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday, and must have a valid LF forklift license, a valid drivers licence with reliable transport, and be physically fit to pass D&A and medical checks. Local role with career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• LF Forklift License required.
• Previous forklift operating experience.
• Drivers Licence + reliable transport.
• Physically fit and able to pass D&A and medical.
• Reliability and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks with steel using forklift.
• Operate with steel up to 5 tonnes and 10m long.
• Carry out yard maintenance and general labouring.

About Our Client

Our client provides ground support, reinforcement products, and safety solutions for underground mining and tunneling operations. With a production facility in Narangba, they are needing a Forklift Operator to start ASAP!

What You Will Be Doing

As a Forklift Operator, your duties will be

• Loading and unloading trucks with steel using forklift
• Working with steel up to 5 tonnes and 10m long
• Yard maintenance and general labouring

Shift Structure

You will be required to start between 6am to 2:30pm Monday to Friday.

What is Required

• Drivers Licence + reliable transport
• LF Forklift License
• Previous forklift operating experience
• Physically fit
• Must pass a D&A and full employment medical
• Reliability and good communication skills!
