Job summary

Next Level Consulting Solutions is hiring a truck driver and yard hand for an Ormeau-based civil shoring equipment company. The role is 80% driving and crane operations and 20% yard maintenance, including physical labour on the ground.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading with a vehicle crane, moving loads between sites, assembling/disassembling equipment on site, and yard upkeep. HR Licence, Crane Licence, White Card and related tickets are required.

Qualifications

• HR Driver's Licence required.
• Vehicle Loading Crane Licence (CV or equivalent) required.
• White Card required.
• Forklift & Dogman Licence preferred.
• Ability to safely load/unload equipment and materials.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a reliable truck driver and yard hand to join a civil shoring equipment company located in Ormeau.

This role is 80% driving and crane operations, with 20% yard maintenance work. It is important to note that the yard maintenance does involve physical labouring, you've got to be fit and happy to do some work on the ground.

Your day to day might involve loading/unloading trucks using a vehicle loading crane, transporting those loads between sites, assembly/disassembly of equipment on site and helping out back at the yard by cleaning or moving equipment.

Requirements for this position

• Previous experience as a Yard Hand or labourer preferred
• Current HR Driver's Licence with proven experience
• Vehicle Loading Crane Licence (CV, or equivalent)
• White Card
• Ability to safely load and unload equipment and materials
• Reliable transport and strong work ethic
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling
• Clear and open communication regarding availability

Pay details and conditions

• $42/hour + Penalty Rates (depending on experience and tickets)
