Stellar Recruitment AU and NZ – Somerset QLD is seeking reliable Truck Drivers to join our Loadout team at the Grantham facility. This full-time role involves operating trucks and combi-lifts to source, inspect, position, and transport containers while maintaining food safety, cold-chain, and security standards.

The ideal candidate will have a current Truck Driver's Licence, forklift/combi-lift competency, and a track record of safe, accurate paperwork.

Qualifications

• Current Truck Driver's Licence.
• Current Forklift and/or Combi-Lift competency/sign-off.
• Experience operating trucks, forklifts, or container handling equipment.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Accurate completion of paperwork and records.
• Comfortable working in chilled and frozen environments.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Able to work effectively within a team environment.
• Flexible to work rotating shifts when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks and combi-lifts safely throughout the site.
• Complete pre-start inspections and safety checks.
• Source and transport containers according to load schedules.
• Conduct 7-point container inspections and report damage.
• Photograph containers and record inspection information.
• Connect containers to 3-phase power and set temperatures.
• Monitor refrigeration units and report alarms or faults.
• Complete Container Register Forms and documentation.
• Weigh full containers and print weight dockets.
• Apply container labels, locks, and security tags.
• Follow dock procedures, traffic management plans and site safety requirements.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and clean work areas at the end of shift.
