Job summary

Vickery Bros Pty Ltd in Coleraine, VIC, is seeking an experienced Truck Driver (General) for a full-time, ongoing role delivering fertiliser, grain and bulk products across rural Victoria. You will drive truck and trailer combinations, perform pre-start checks and ensure safe loading and unloading.

Applicants must hold a current Australian HC or MC licence, with 1–2 years post-licence experience, and have bulk haulage, load restraint and fatigue-management skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Australian HC or MC heavy vehicle licence
• 1–2 years post-licence heavy vehicle/articulated driving experience
• Experience with bulk haulage, tipper operations and load restraint
• Awareness of work/rest hours and fatigue management requirements
• Strong communication and accurate recordkeeping skills

Responsibilities

• Drive truck and trailer combinations delivering fertiliser, grain, sand and other bulk products
• Conduct pre-start checks and routine maintenance; safely load, distribute, restrain, cover and unload materials
• Assess tipping hazards at work sites
• Comply with NHVR fatigue rules and maintain delivery records
• Clean trailers between loads and report faults

Vickery Bros Pty Ltd is an established regional agribusiness operating fertiliser supply, spreading, depots, logistics and fleet workshops across western Victoria and southeast South Australia; Coleraine-based team.

We are seeking a reliable experienced Truck Driver (General) comfortable with rural routes, fertiliser and bulk freight operations, customer sites and regulated fatigue management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drive truck and trailer combinations delivering fertiliser, grain, sand and other bulk products
• Conduct pre-start checks and routine user maintenance; safely load, distribute, restrain, cover and unload materials
• Assess site tipping hazards
• Comply with NHVR fatigue rules and maintain work diaries and delivery records
• Clean trailers between loads and report faults.

Applicants must have:

• Current Australian HC or MC heavy vehicle licence (or legally recognised equivalent permitting required operation)
• Minimum 1-2 years post-licence heavy vehicle/articulated driving experience
• Bulk haulage, tipper and load restraint competency
• Awareness of work/rest hours and safe unloading
• Communication and recordkeeping skills
