Job summary

Truck Driver | Lifeline Queensland in Geebung is seeking a Permanent Full Time driver to support Lifeline's charity retail operations. You will pick up donations, deliver stock to shops, and help keep vehicles clean and roadworthy.

Availability Monday–Friday and a valid MR licence are required. This role offers a competitive hourly rate with superannuation and NFP salary packaging, plus staff discounts and other benefits.

Qualifications

• MR licence required or able to obtain promptly.

Responsibilities

• Pick-up donations from in and around clothing donation bins, private and commercial premises and Lifeline shops
• Deliver stock to Lifeline shops, private and commercial premises
• Deliver rags to customers which may include money handling
• Unload vehicles and ensure the area is kept clean and tidy
• Ensure all paperwork for the position is recorded accurately and on a daily basis
• Maintain vehicles in a clean and roadworthy condition and report any security, maintenance or safety issues to relevant supervisor
• Supervise the safety and work performance of Offsiders in the truck
• Ensure operational timeframes are met whilst adhereing to Queensland traffic road rules
