Job summary

Hi-Tec Oils is seeking a reliable Truck Driver to join our Sydney team. You will deliver our lubricant products across Sydney Metro and surrounding areas, providing strong customer service and ensuring safety and efficiency on every run.

Front-line role requires an LR licence, 3+ years of multidrop experience, and a commitment to safety. Forklift licence is a plus in a warehouse-driven role. Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm with the option for consistent shifts.

Truck Driver | Smithfield

Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 4:00pm

Hi-Tec Oils, a proudly Australian-owned manufacturer and distributor of automotive, industrial, and commercial lubricants, is seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our Sydney team. You’ll be responsible for delivering our diverse product range safely and efficiently across Sydney Metro and surrounding areas.

About the Role

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of Hi-Tec Oils products throughout Sydney Metro and surrounding areas. As the face of the company on the road, you’ll provide exceptional customer service while ensuring deliveries are completed safely, accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a vehicle to complete scheduled multidrop deliveries throughout Sydney Metro and surrounding areas.
• Load and unload products safely using pallet jacks and manual handling techniques where required.
• Conduct daily pre-start vehicle inspections and maintain the vehicle in a clean and roadworthy condition.
• Deliver products accurately and on time while maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Secure loads in accordance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements.
• Complete delivery dockets, proof of delivery and other required documentation accurately.
• Maintain compliance with road transport legislation, company policies and safety procedures.
• Report vehicle defects, incidents and hazards promptly.
• Work collaboratively with the warehouse and customer service teams to ensure customer expectations are met.

About You

• Current LR Licence (essential).
• 3+ years’ experience completing multidrop deliveries.
• Experience with pallet-on/pallet-off deliveries.
• Current Forklift Licence (preferred but not essential).
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Sound knowledge of Sydney Metro and surrounding areas.
• Strong time management skills and a reliable work ethic.
• The ability to work independently and manage daily delivery schedules.
• Physical fitness to undertake manual handling tasks.
• A clean driving record and recent WorkCover history statement.
• Previous experience delivering lubricants, industrial products or dangerous goods will be highly regarded, with training provided where required.
