Responsibilities

• Load and unload vehicles using appropriate lifting or tipping equipment.
• Ensure goods are properly stowed, covered, and secured to prevent damage or loss.
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections and quality checks to maintain safe operation.
• Verify delivery and loading documents, inspect the condition of goods, and obtain necessary certifications.
• Estimate and distribute load weights to comply with safety regulations and load limits.

Qualifications & experience

• AQF Certificate II or III (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
• Minimum 1 to 3 year of relevant truck driving or heavy vehicle experience can substitute formal qualifications.
• Proficiency in GPS load securing techniques and transport regulatory compliance.
• Valid heavy vehicle licence and any necessary endorsements are mandatory.
• Understanding of load regulations, vehicle safety checks, and road safety compliance.
