About the role
Australian Road Covers' is seeking an experienced Truck Driver to join our team in our Bayswater, VIC location. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a commercial vehicle to transport goods across various locations. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating a commercial vehicle, such as a rigid truck, to transport goods across metropolitan areas
• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and well-maintained
• Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
• Unloading grates and manhole covers to store and sites, using a truck mounted crane when required
• Providing excellent customer service to clients and stakeholders

Qualifications

• A current Medium Rigid (MR) driver's licence
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a commercial vehicle driver in the road transport industry
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and safe driving practices
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Forklift licence, dogging licence and truck mounted crane experience would be an advantage
