Job summary

JRT Group in Rockhampton/Yeppoon region is seeking experienced Truck & Dog Drivers to join our civil operations. You will operate truck and dog combinations, haul gravel, sand and spoil, and support site activities with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance.

Demonstrated experience with T&D configurations and a valid HC/MC licence are required. You will perform pre-start checks, assist with loading/unloading, and maintain documentation for site records.

Qualifications

• Experience operating truck & dog combinations
• Valid HC or MC driver’s licence
• Strong understanding of load restraint and safe tipping practices
• Knowledge of fatigue management and transport compliance
• Ability to work both independently and within a team

Responsibilities

• Operate truck and dog combinations for material haulage across civil project sites
• Transport quarry materials, fill, and spoil as directed
• Safely load and unload materials
• Manage tipping operations in line with site requirements
• Conduct daily pre-start checks and basic preventative maintenance
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the vehicle
• Comply with Work Health & Safety (WHS) requirements
• Complete required documentation including logbooks, pre-starts, and dockets

JRT Group has existing and upcoming civil projects across Rockhampton and Yeppoon and is seeking multiple experienced Truck & Dog Driver to join our team. Role Overview:

You will be responsible for operating truck and dog combinations across our civil projects, transporting materials such as gravel, sand, and spoil while maintaining safety, efficiency, and compliance standards.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Operating truck & dog combinations for material haulage across civil project sites
