Job summary

Woolworths Group seeks a Trolley Collection Driver in Queensland to ensure trolleys are available and stores remain pristine. You will drive a trolley collection vehicle, collect trolleys from car parks, and ensure the environment is hygienically clean for customers.

Applicants must hold a driver's licence and be physically fit to transition between driving and collecting trolleys. The position offers opportunities for growth in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full (unrestricted) or provisional (Green P Plates) Australian drivers licence or full International drivers Licence.
• Physical fitness is essential for collecting and loading trolleys.
• Availability to work across Monday-Sunday starting from 6am or 4pm.

Responsibilities

• Drive a trolley collection vehicle and collect trolleys.
• Push trolleys onto the collection vehicle and return them to bays.
• Complete cleaning and waste disposal tasks as required.

About The Role

Here at Woolies, we have a team called Proactive Services that ensures trolleys are available to use and that our stores are in pristine condition - this enables our Customers (and your colleagues) to experience an environment that is hygienically clean to work and shop in. You'll work side‑by‑side with your team whilst bringing a little good to everyone, every day.

What You’ll Do

• Drive a trolley collection vehicle and collect trolleys from car parks and surrounding suburbs
• Push trolleys up a ramp onto the trolley collection vehicle
• Collect trolleys left in and around the store and return them to the trolley bays
• Carry out all pre‑start and handover routines for the vehicle
• Follow all safety and operational processes and procedures related to vehicle operation and trolley collection
• Follow all road rules and report any issues related to unretrievable trolleys
• You may also be required to complete cleaning and waste disposal tasks
• Full training and assessment in operating our trolley collection vehicles

What You’ll Bring

• An ambitious mindset, a love of retail, and a passion for people to a promising role with room to grow your career
• You must hold a full (unrestricted) Australian drivers licence, Provisional P2 drivers licence (Green P Plates) or full International drivers Licence
• Physical fitness is essential for this role, as you will be transitioning from driving a vehicle to physically collecting and loading trolleys throughout your shift
• Availability to work across Monday‑Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 4pm
• A strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team
