Job summary

Cromwell Property Group is seeking a Treasury Analyst to join our Brisbane treasury team in a permanent role. You will provide treasury analysis, modelling and reporting to support funding, liquidity and financial risk decisions, owning accuracy and timeliness of outputs.

You will report to the Group Treasurer and contribute to improved treasury processes, governance and input to Board and executive reporting.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in Finance, Banking, Commerce, Economics, Property Economics, Accounting or related discipline.
• At least two years’ experience as a banking analyst.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills including debt capacity, covenants and lending risk.
• Understanding of debt facilities, loan documentation, financial covenants, hedging and treasury reporting.
• Ability to interpret financial, legal and commercial information and explain findings clearly.
• Experience managing banking relationships and coordinating input from others.

Responsibilities

• Prepare debt portfolio analysis covering maturities, pricing, funding costs, covenant headroom and hedge ratios.
• Develop scenario models and recommendations to support debt and treasury risk management decisions.
• Prepare financial models, lender responses, information memoranda and presentations for funding/refinancing.
• Coordinate treasury transaction workstreams across capital providers and stakeholders.
• Calculate covenants and prepare compliance certificates and supporting analysis.
• Produce treasury dashboards, debt and hedging statistics, valuations and board information.
• Review cash positions and forecasts and identify liquidity actions or risks.
• Lead improvements to treasury analysis, reporting, systems and data quality.
