Job summary

Webber, a Ferrovial Construction subsidiary, seeks a seasoned Drill Rig Operator for heavy civil geotechnical projects. You will set up and operate drilling equipment, monitor well control, read diagrams, and perform routine maintenance while complying with OSHA regulations.

Travel to out-of-town/state sites as needed and collaborate with Geotechnical Construction Manager to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 5+ years heavy highway and civil construction drill operator experience.
• Ability to travel out-of-town and state as needed.
• Experience with geotechnical/environmental drilling techniques.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate drilling equipment and maintain daily checklists.
• Read diagrams and drill holes to specifications; regulate air pressure and speeds.
• Perform equipment maintenance and take soil samples; install inclinometers.
