Job summary

Flight Centre is hiring Sales Travel Consultants to work on-site in our retail stores across Australia. You will plan itineraries, book travel and convert enquiries into bookings via in person, phone, and email.

The role includes a base wage plus uncapped incentives tied to sales targets, with a focus on flights, hotels, car hire, tours and insurance. Ideal candidates are seasoned travellers with strong organisational skills, a drive to meet targets, a warm customer approach, and comfort using

Qualifications

• Seasoned traveller with international destinations and travel recommendations.
• Great organisational skills with calendar management and responsive communication.
• Determination to meet sales targets in a high-pressure environment.
• Warmth and enthusiasm to encourage customers to book with you.
• Savviness with computers and multiple travel booking systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan itineraries, book travel and convert enquiries into bookings in person, over the phone and via email.
• Work full-time on-site in a retail store on a rotating 7-day roster.
• Sell flights, accommodation, car hire, tours, travel insurance and more to meet KPIs.
• Build a customer base of new and returning clients for domestic and international holidays.
• Assist customers with travel questions, visas, packing tips and destination advice.
