Job summary

Sealed Air is seeking a Field Service Technician (Mechanical Fitter) to support our packaging equipment across Australia. Based in Queensland, you will supervise installation, carry out servicing, and troubleshoot equipment at customer sites to keep production running smoothly.

The role requires a Grade Electrical License with strong mechanical skills, or a Mechanical Fitter with a restricted electrical license, and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Must have electrical license or be a mechanical fitter with electrical exposure.
• Experience in a manufacturing or service environment preferred.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise installation or commissioning of Sealed Air equipment at customer sites.
• Perform servicing, maintenance, and emergency repairs.
• Educate customers on equipment usage and maintenance.
• Assist with audits, proposals, and competitor analysis with Sales.
• Maintain service records and generate customer reports.
• Manage spare parts stock and service tool kits for assigned region.
