Job summary

Aruma is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for Children’s Services in Ipswich. You’ll help create a safe, nurturing home for children aged 5–18 who have experienced trauma, supporting school routines, life skills and recreation while building strong relationships and guiding them toward their goals.

You’ll work within a 24/7 residential setting, collaborating with families and professionals, and participate in trauma-informed practice and ongoing learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential Care) or equivalent is highly regarded.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Working With Children Check (WWCC) required.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check required.
• Current driver’s licence and insured vehicle.

Responsibilities
