Job summary

Melba Support Services is seeking a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to deliver person-led, trauma-informed PBS that enhances quality of life for people with disability. You will manage a clinical caseload, collaborate with families and support networks, and coach teams to implement evidence-based plans.

You will work within Melba's human rights framework, contribute to continuous improvement, and uphold safety and quality standards across services.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work, occupational therapy, education or behavioural science.
• Experience delivering Positive Behaviour Support within disability or health sectors.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-led Positive Behaviour Support that upholds human rights.
• Manage a clinical caseload within trauma-informed frameworks.
• Develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support Plans.
• Collaborate with families, support teams and external stakeholders.
• Coach and mentor staff to embed best practices.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
