Job summary

Southdown is seeking a Housing Support Specialist to work with a multi-agency team, providing trauma-informed, in-person, short-term tenancy support for people at risk of homelessness.

You will hold a client caseload and deliver one-to-one sessions and life-skills interventions, with full induction and training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering trauma-informed housing or social care support.
• Experience handling a client caseload in housing/health settings.
• Ability to provide one-to-one support and life-skills interventions.
• Open to applicants from related roles with equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, short-term tenancy support for at-risk or homeless individuals.
• Hold a client caseload and deliver trauma-informed housing support sessions.
• Carry out life-skills interventions with clients to aid independence.
• Collaborate with a multi-agency team and participate in case planning.
• Complete full induction and training for new staff.
