BlueScope Building Components is seeking a Transport Scheduler to join the Scheduling team in Novar Gardens, SA. This permanent part-time role (5 days a week, 4 hours per day) focuses on planning, coordinating, and delivering steel products on time while working with internal teams and our transport provider.

BlueScope Building Components is looking for a Transport Scheduler to join the Scheduling team based in Novar Gardens, SA. BlueScope Building Components, a division of BlueScope in Australia, manufactures and markets steel building products, solutions and services through its leading brands: Lysaght and Fielders.
Transport Schedulers are pivotal in our success of delivery to customer, coordinating the delivery of our steel products across the state. In this permanent part-time role, working 5 days a week for 4 hours per day with flexibility on start and finish times, you'll work closely with internal teams and our transport provider to ensure orders are delivered in full and on time, every time.
Your primary focus will be ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely movement of products across our network. You'll work with a wide range of variables, from product types and sizes to delivery routes and sequencing, to keep things running smoothly. As part of a collaborative team, you'll also gain exposure to our transport fleet, production and customer service teams, helping to build a broader understanding of the full supply chain and stepping in to support when needed.
You do not need to come from a Transport Scheduling background to be considered. What matters most is your ability to stay organised, plan ahead, manage competing priorities and pick up systems quickly. With the right attitude and a desire to learn, this role will give you the opportunity to develop practical scheduling, logistics and supply chain knowledge while making a meaningful contribution to our customers and team.
