Job summary

Wettenhalls in Colac VIC is seeking a Transport Operations Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day transport activities for the Colac team. You will manage drivers on shift, coordinate with maintenance, and ensure NHVR regulations and company safety standards are met.

• Experience in a supervisory role within transport.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with drivers.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Sound knowledge of COR, NHVAS, transport legislation and regulations.
• Experience with Transport Management systems (F2020, MT Data, MS Office).

As the Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day transport operations of the Colac team, managing drivers on shift, and ensuring compliance with NHVR regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

Working a full-time Monday to Friday roster, you will play a key role in maintaining fleet efficiency, coordinating effectively between operations and maintenance teams, ensuring vehicles are inspected and ready for allocation, proactively communicating service issues to customers and stakeholders, and identifying and resolving operational challenges to support the smooth running of the business. Other duties may be required as needed.

What You’ll Need:

Experience in a supervisory role within transport.

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with drivers.

Ability to work autonomously.

Strict adherence to Health Safety and Environment procedures and practices.
