About the Role:

As our new Transport Allocator, you’ll be responsible for scheduling and dispatching our fleet of modern Scania and Volvo tippers across metro and regional Victoria. You'll play a critical role in ensuring materials are delivered safely, on time, and in full to our construction and civil clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Allocate and dispatch daily deliveries to trucks and subcontractors
• Plan and optimise routes based on traffic, site access, and delivery windows
• Coordinate with clients to confirm job details and site-specific needs
• Monitor truck progress throughout the day using GPS and dashcam systems
• Make real time adjustments due to delays, weather, or last-minute changes
• Ensure compliance with fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in a transport allocator or dispatcher role
• Background in quarry, civil construction, or earthmoving industries preferred
• Strong knowledge of Melbourne suburbs, arterial routes, and truck access zones
• Great communication and organisational skills
• Ability to problem-solve on the fly and keep a cool head under pressure
• Familiarity with TMS systems, GPS tracking, and transport compliance
