Job summary

Airswift, partnering Elecnor, is seeking 5 Transmission Riggers to support Australia and New Zealand projects, with flights provided for mobilisation. Work involves assembling lattice towers, stringing lines up to 500 kV, and applying earthing schemes while following strict safety rules.

Roster is 3 weeks on, 1 week off, with 10-hour days and 8 hours travel paid; accommodation near site is provided, and tools, PPE and training are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working on Transmission Line construction and erection.
• Full Australian Working Rights.
• Australian Recognised Rigger Ticket / equivalent qualifications.
• White Card and EWP License advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assemble steel lattice towers and install anti-climbing devices, step bolts and signage.
• String transmission lines up to 500kV.
• Apply earthing schemes to protect linesmen on towers.
• Follow safety rules, assess risks and obtain permits to work.
• Promptly report accidents and near-miss incidents.
• Roster: 3 weeks on, 1 week off; 10-hour days; 8 hours travel paid.
• Tools, training and PPE provided; accommodation near site.
