Qualifications

• Understanding of network operations, risk management and health and safety practices.
• Knowledge of the Australian National Electricity Market (NEM) and transmission networks.

Responsibilities

• Proactively monitor network and asset risks, anomalies and opportunities to improve safety and reliability.
• Assist in managing unplanned incidents and larger scale emergencies using procedures and training.
• Analyze protection targets, alarms, SCADA data, network config and remedial action schemes.
• Support day-to-day Transmission Operations activities and knowledge sharing.
• Review access applications and support planned switching to ensure safe outcomes.
• Provide secure access for planned works and assess customer impact and notifications.
