Job summary

Canberra Health Services (CHS) invites applications for an Allied Health Assistant Level 3 within the Transitional Therapy and Care Program. You will work with allied health professionals to support short-term therapy and care for older people after hospital stays, helping them regain independence and safely return home.

Role requires autonomy, strong communication, and flexibility to operate across homes, a residential unit, and community settings. Weekend/on-call rotas may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience as Allied Health Assistant Level 3 or equivalent in a clinical setting.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy and care programs under Allied Health Professionals.
• Provide high-quality care across clients' homes, TTCP Residential Unit, and community locations.
• Monitor client progress and report feedback to clinicians for optimal outcomes.
• Participate in weekend rosters, on-call arrangements, and rotational rosters as required.
